Easy Air Fryer French Fries

Ingredients
  

  • 1 large russet potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, optional
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika, optional
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, optional

Method
 

  1. Prep the Potatoes: Wash and cut the potatoes into ¼-inch fries.
  2. Soak: Soak the fries in cold water for 20–30 minutes, then drain.
  3. Dry: Pat the fries completely dry with paper towels.
  4. Season: Toss with olive oil, salt, and desired seasonings.
  5. Arrange: Place the fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  6. Air Fry: Cook at 380°F for 10 minutes. Shake the basket, then cook for 6–10 minutes more until golden and crispy.
  7. Serve: Season with additional salt if desired and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
